I’m a big fan of Halloween.
The candy and costumes are fun, and as time has marched along, I realize that it is the one time of year that I get to see my neighbors. During halloween my neighborhood feels like a community.
Is your community Halloween Central ?
Near every town, there is a place that is Halloween central. People drive to this place, park their cars and walk around with their kids. Homeowners have parties, haunted houses and theaters in their lawns, garages and porches.
These locations have well lit sidewalks, slow moving traffic, homes that are close together and close to the street, inviting lawns, and large numbers of other pedestrians. These are all signs of a healthy, pedestrian friendly, well designed community.
So if where you live is Halloween central, good for you…!!!!
Happy Halloween……!!!!!
